SPRING LEAGUE

Boys of all experience levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced) in grades 1-8.

New and inexperienced players are specifically encouraged to register. We will assign them to the appropriate team for their grade and experience level.

Team information (team assignment, rosters, practice days and times, etc.) will be emailed to parents of registered players no later than Friday March 1st.

Spring practices will begin the week of March 11th, after Daylight Savings kicks in.

Most teams will practice two weeknights per week, from 600pm to 730pm, at Manhattan Middle School. Some teams (1st-3rd grade) may practice from 530pm to 700pm at Horizons K8 School.

Head coaches will determine the practice location and days for their teams. We cannot promise to assign a player to specific practice days.

Teams may choose to hold optional practices over BVSD Spring Break, March 25th-29th.

Games will be held on all Saturdays and some Sundays in late March, April and May, beginning March 30th. Teams will play home games at East Boulder Community Park turf fields. Away game locations will include Arvada, Broomfield, Denver, Evergreen, Fort Collins, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Parker, and Windsor, and other locations around the state.

Game schedule will be released by AYL (Arapahoe Youth Lacrosse) by Wednesday March 20th and emailed to parents at that time.

Playoff games will be held the weekend of May 11th-12th. AYL division championships will be held the weekend of May 18th-19th, and will conclude the spring season.

Cost is $445, and includes new Boulder Lacrosse uniform (game jersey and shorts).

Registration fee covers our field rental expenses, lacrosse supplies, league fees, officials charges, coaching and educational expenditures, coach background checks, and administrative costs.

All players must have current US Lacrosse membership, valid through May 20, 2024. Renewal or new membership cost is $35. Membership is a requirement of insurance provider.

Registration includes a new uniform (reversible game jersey and shorts) for all players. We are excited to partner with States and Co to provide players with an upgraded uniform kit featuring high performance fabrics and exceptional quality. Uniforms will be distributed directly to players at a practice in March, before our first games.

Parents will have the option to purchase a Boulder Lacrosse Headwrapz featuring our new logo as part of registration ($45). Headwrapz are vinyl stickers used to customize a lacrosse helmet. These Headwrapz are adaptable to all current helmet models. Headwrapz will be distributed directly to players at a practice in March, before our first games.

Parents will have the option to purchase a Boulder Lacrosse shooter shirt featuring our new logo as part of the registration ($40). Shooter shirts are worn under pads during games to coordinate with our new uniforms, and can also be worn around town to demonstrate your BVL pride! Shooter shirts will be made by States and Co with the same high performance fabrics used in our uniforms. Shooter shirts will be distributed directly to players at a practice in March, before our first games.
